WHY Management STUDIES ?
IN AKS UNIVERSITY
Overview
The department of management studies along with the students carries out research and offer consultancy services to various sectors of management, social studies and interdisciplinary matters too. Topics included in our research arena are - leadership skills measurement, cross-cultural issues, competency mapping, balance score card, the study of inflation and economic surveys. We also conduct case study development workshops.
STRENGTH
The department has got 14 classes each having a capacity of 60 students. All the classes are well ventilated and furnished. 06 classes are equipped with the LCD screens and the latest projectors. All the classes are having good ICT infrastructure and accessories. The department has smart classes equipped with audio and video conferencing facilities to conduct lectures by Industry & Academic experts of national and international fame.
INDUSTRIAL TRAINING
The Department of Management study conducts regular industrial visits and internship for the students which enables them to work in Industries efficiently. Additional certificate courses for students are also offered which enhances their career path and work as high value addition for the student's future growth. We conduct regular guest lecture series too. It facilitates foreign educational tours for the faculty members and students through Faculty-Students exchange programs.
JOB OPPORTUNITY
After successful completion of BBA/ MBA Program from AKS University, Satna, our students get deployed in prestigious organizations and serve the industries as a Management consultant , Marketing Manager, Finance Manager, Human Resource Manager, Operations Manager, IT Manager, Employee Relationship Manager, Sales Manager, Retail Manager and Business Analyst etc.
PLACEMENT STATUS
A committed team of specialists train & guide the students through intensive classroom demonstrations, mock group discussions & personal interviews. Students are grouped into various committees who assist the placement cell in evolving a broad policy framework & also to identify & design strategies to approach & invite different corporate groups & companies for campus interviews at our state-of-the-art campus.
Research & Development
The department has an active research association of the students by means of which the students get involved in various research and project related activities. The students learn to prepare research proposals and final reports under the guidance of various faculty members.
