Cement Tech, It is the first University in the country offering Graduate programmes in Cement Technology ,The Course has been designed with the latest technological development such as use of Alternate Fuel and Raw Materials (AFR),Waste Heat Recovery (WHR) in,Energy efficiency in cement plant, Manufacturing of Low carbon Cements & Geoplymeric Cement, Design of Green Cement Plant, etc ,Industrial training is the prime focus of the curriculum.

Cement industry is one of the fastest growing industry in the country ,At present, around 250 cement plants are operating with installed capacity of 530 Million tones and going to be double by next decade , With the new cement production target of the Govt, around 50000 technical manpower will be required in next 5 years , AKS University is associated with almost all Cement Plants through Cement Manufacturing Association of India (CMA), There is a huge demand of Indian cement Technocrats in Africa , Gulf countries, Nepal etc.

An advanced laboratory for basic and fundamental research in cement and concrete has been established in the Cement Tech. Department. AKS University imparts training to the base level workforce of one of the largest cement plant of the country M/s Prism Cement plant on Portland Cement Manufacturing Technology .
