MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
Mechanical Engineering is one of the prominent branches of engineering profession and its principles are involved in the design, study, development and construction of nearly all of the physical devices and systems. Continued research and development have led to better machines and processes helping the mankind.
The programs of Department of Mechanical Engineering are focused on the management of resources, design and development of new processes and innovative products. The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers Polytechnic Diploma/ Graduate / and Post Graduate Programs in Advance Production System / Industrial Engineering / Industrial Management / Thermal Engineering / Design Engineering / Renewable Energy System. The department is also engaged in research activities leading to Doctoral Degree.

Industrial Visits And Tour
- Our students undergone 15 days industrial training on "Programming and Operation on CNC Turning" at Advance Training Institute (ATI) Kanpur.
- Paper entitled "Modeling and Optimization of Tool Wear Rate in Powder Mixed EDM of MMC", presented during 2nd International Conference on Mechanical and Robotics Engineering (ICMRE'2013), in Pattaya (Thailand) conferred first price.
- Technical paper presentation by students of Mechanical Engineering Departmenton "International conference on intelligent system and swarm intelligence" held at Hong Kong in March 2017.
- Our students undergone short term course on "Advances in Materials and Manufacturing" at MNNIT ALLAHABAD.
- Organized National Conference on "New Advances in Mechanical Engineering" at Jabalpur centre of Institution of engineers.
- Industrial visit of students at Bhilai Steel Plant, Bhilai, the largest steel manufacturing plant of public sector (SAIL) in India.
